S0 JOA U 1 Environmental Health Department <br /> u ; i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> GUNTERT&ZIMMERMAN CONST DIV INC 222 E FOURTH ST, RIPON September 02, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following spill control equipment were observed with used oil accumulating inside: <br /> -Secondary containment for one approximately 600-gallon used oil tank observed with approximately 1 inch of used <br /> oil and debris accumulating inside. <br /> -Secondary containment for bucket and oil filter draining observed with approximately 1 inch of used oil and debris <br /> accumulating inside. <br /> -Secondary containment for one parts washer machine observed with approximately 1 inch of used oil <br /> accumulating inside. <br /> -Secondary containment for one 55-gallon container with coolant(product)and one 15-gallon drum with grease <br /> observed with approximately 1 inch of used oil accumulating inside. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility spill control equipment shall be maintained as necessary to assure its proper <br /> operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the spill control equipment listed above into proper working order by removing the <br /> liquid in the secondary containment and placing in the proper waste container. Provide a corrective action <br /> statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. <br /> The following were observed in the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with baghouse dust observed with no hazardous properties. Operator marked "toxic'and <br /> corrected on site. <br /> The following were observed in the baghouse area located in the shop: <br /> -Two 55-gallon containers with baghouse dust observed with no hazardous properties.
