8) STP sump details (G4.0 and G4.1) do not show any proposed smart sensors or vacuum
communication ports or vacuum hoses. All proposed vacuum supply and communication
components to be installed must be identified on proposed drawings.
9) Per your response #17 all piping cross overs will be a minimum of 12 inches, please
confirm that such cross over distance will be maintained through the entire piping layout.
10) Drawing G7.1, Fe Petro leak detector is listed under VMI schedule and Phil-Tite
components are listed under OPW schedule, please correct as appropriate.
11) Drawing G12.1, all vacuum zone terminations must be shown for all piping inside under
dispenser containments (UDCs), identify all provisions for communication testing at each
vacuum zone termination (UDCs, sumps, vent sumps, chase piping, etc.), provide a
legend for any symbols (like valves) being utilized. On this drawing several vacuum
hoses terminate without any apparent valves or penetrations they should be going
through. Drawing G5.0 doesn't depict vacuum communication provisions for UDCs or
piping. Also, it is EHD's understanding that Phill-Tite spill containers are proposed,
however OPW spill containers are included on this drawing (OPW spill containers are
also shown on G4.1 and several other drawings), please clarify and correct as
appropriate.
12)Vacuum zone volumes were requested previously, please clarify where they were
included in this revised submittal. G6.2 lists 3 vacuum zones, however, 9 smart sensors
are shown on G12.1, please clarify.
13) Provide the following certifications: INCON for Byron Molina, a current Xerxes
certification for all tank installers (the submitted certification has a typed in expiration
date), certifications for all proposed flex connectors (Unisource, Fireflex and Flexing),
Phil Tite, Franklin Fueling Defender Series, and Fe Petro for leak detectors.
14) Provide all computability documentation and UL /third party listing information (see
attached compatibility requirement guidance letter dated January 2019 for more
information)
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call me at (209) 953-7699.
Thank you,
Elena Manzo, Sr. RENS
Lead Sr. Registered Environmental Health Specialist
Page 2 of 2 141 E Harney Ln., Lodi CA SR0079417
