ARCADIS Mr. McKinley Lewis, Jr. <br /> April 20, 2011 <br /> Task 3) Sample Domestic Water Well <br /> Following removal of the submersible pump and associated equipment, the idle <br /> domestic water supply well will be monitored for total depth, depth to <br /> groundwater, and groundwater field parameters prior to sampling using low-flow <br /> techniques. Groundwater samples will be collected after the well has been <br /> purged using low-flow techniques and groundwater parameters have stabilized. <br /> Groundwater will be contained in a 55-gallon drum at the Site. ARCADIS does <br /> not anticipate generating more than 30 to 50 gallons of water using this method. <br /> Groundwater samples will be collected for the following, as indicated in Table 1. <br /> • pH using EPA Method 9045D <br /> • VOCs using EPA Method 8260B <br /> • SVOCs using EPA Method 8270C, <br /> • TPH using EPA Method 801513, and <br /> • Total metals and dissolved metals using EPA Method 6020. <br /> Task 4) Fence Repair <br /> A licensed fence contractor will repair damage and breached fence locations <br /> identified in the southwestern corner of the Site_ <br /> • Ten lineal feet of wood and 10 lineal feet of 6-foot-high galvanized <br /> fencing will be replaced at the southwestern corner of the Site. <br /> • Two fence installers will complete the work in approximately one day. <br /> • Concrete surrounding the fence posts will set up sufficiently in <br /> approximately 24 hours. <br /> Task 5) Weed Abatement <br /> Weed abatement is proposed to be conducted between May and June 2011 <br /> following the rainy season as follows: <br /> Page: <br /> Final PEA Wo&Plan Addendum-ApO t-RV009008.doc 7/11 <br />
