SAN 0 A Q U I N Environmental Health Department
COUNTY
10 . The length of the piping was not documented on the permit plan submitted . Submit the length of
the piping and verify that they will be compatible with the PLLD lengths as well as the vacuum
sensors .
11 . On sheet G . 0. 6 . 16 , there is an optional liquid trap being proposed . There was no cut sheet or part
number for the liquid trap being proposed . Make a determination on whether the liquid trap is going
to be used or not . If it is going to be used , send in the cut sheet , the part number and detail how the
trap will be monitored .
12 . The parts list on sheets M . 5 . 3 . 01 and M . 5 . 3 . 02 do not reflect the items being used in the
installation process . For example , the UDC containment system listed on sheet M . 5 . 3 . 02 is
Western Fiberglass model No . DWDS1604DXDX-ON . This UST component is different from the
same UDC on sheet M . 5 . 3 . 22 . Clarify the correct numbers and ensure that the parts match up .
13 . On sheet M . 5 . 3 . 01 the brine reservoir appears to be above the secondary containment . Verify that
the brine reservoir is going to be installed per manufacturer' s instructions . In addition , the holder for
the liquid sensor is touching the sump ground . Verify that the holder will be off the ground so liquid
can trip the sensor.
14 . Per permit requirements , design and construction of tanks and all other components used to
construct primary containment system must be approved by an independent testing organization
(e . g . UL) , provide the relevant documentation of independent testing organization approval .
15 . Throughout the permit plans submitted , there are multiple options given for piping layout and
sensorsthat are going to be used . Submit a copy to the EHD where all of the options have been
decided and include the contractor's information . When the plan is approved by the EHD , that the
one that is going to be used . If there are any changes after the permit is finalized , an amendment
will need to be submitted and reviewed by the EHD .
If you have any further questions , please contact me at (209) 468-3147 .
Thank you , p
John Alaniz , EHS
Environmental Health Specialist
Cc: Sarvjit Singh 3819 Escena Court, Turlock CA 95382
2 of 2
I
f
