A
TPZ-1 through TPZ-5. The two remaining wells that are known to have been installed by PG&E and that still exist
at the site are CSD-1 and WSD-1, which supply non-potable water to the two compressor stations and will not be
decommissioned. Information on these wells (except for TPZ-1 through -5) is shown in the attached Table 2-1.
MSE was able to locate boring logs and well diagrams only for MW-10 and MW-11, shown in Table 2-1 as having
2' PVC casings. However, the borehole diameter is not provided on the well diagrams. As I mentioned to you, I
am sure the drillers performing this work met the minimum County (or, previously, District) requirements for a 2"
annular space around the wells, but SOPs for the various consultants that installed these wells could have
specified boreholes to have larger annular spaces. So that the drillers can accurately estimate their time and
materials for the decommissioning project, MSE would appreciate you also searching and providing any
construction records you might have on the following:
• MW-1 RD (representing MW-1 RD through MW-5, installed in 1986)
• MW-6 (representing MW-6 through MW-9, installed in 1989)
• MW-10 (representing MW-10 and MW-11, installed in 2000) 'f 4 m'' J t
• P-1 (representing P-1 through P-7, WLs first measured in 1994 but unknown installation dates)
MSE has construction logs for TPZ-1 through TPZ-5. These temporary piezometers were installed by MSE and
inspected by you in December 2007.
Anne Conner, the PG&E PM for the site, is aware that you will bill PG&E directly on a time and materials basis for
the records search. She has moved from the North Wiget Lane address shown on the attached letter to the
following address:
Anne Conner
Senior Remediation Project Manager
PG&E Environmental Remediation
3401 Crow Canyon Road, Room 176C
San Ramon, CA 94583
(925)415-6381
We very much appreciate your prompt provision of the SJCEHD website link, the decommissioning schematic,
and any relevant records you can find on the above wells. Once we receive these materials we will finalize the
RFB, receive and evaluate drillers' bids, obtain authorization to proceed from PG&E, and then submit the well
permit application to you. Please contact me if you have any questions or need additional information.
Thank you,
Robert A.
