The area that the borings will be made is fenced (see site plan Plate 3) with an entrance opening of ten feet. After the equipment is in place, temporary barricades and construction caution tape will be used to block entrance to the site. On and offsite communication will be provided by public telephone, cellular phone, and private two-way radio systems. DECONTAMINATION MEASURES: The borings will be made using a truck mounted drill rig equipped with 8-inch hollow stem augers. Provision for personal hygiene will be use of the onsite facility known as the "Health Club" . This facility is located within fifty feet of the site investigation. It is equipped with sanitary and washing facilities. The collection of any contaminated materials will be placed in 55-gallon drums and disposed of by American Environmental Management Corporation. GENERAL SAFE WORK PRACTICES: Wolin & Sons, Inc. Safe Practices and Operations is incorporated as part of the Site Safety Plan. See Appendix A. Work is to be done only during daylight hours. The drilling equipment shall be in proper working order with all guards and protective devices in place and in proper working order. SANITATION: The Health Club facility located within fifty feet of the proposed site investigation. The Health Club will allow the use of their facility for this phase of work. STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES: Wolin & Sons, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures are covered in our Safe Practices and Operations Code and is incorporated as part of this plan. See Appendix A. EMERGENCY RESPONSE: For Medical emergency, immediately call 911 and request appropriate service. Then notify the appropriate agencies of the nature of the problem ie: toxic spill, 1-fire department, 2-Public Health Services. For the Phone numbers and contact individuals, see Appendix B. The site entrance is located on Estate Drive 1 , 000 feet west of Brainbridge Place. To reach Estate Drive from Interstate 5 and Hammer Lane: East on Hammer Lane to Don Avenue, left on Don Avenue to Waudman Way, left on Waudman Way to Brainbridge Place to Estate Drive, left on Estate Drive, 1 , 000 feet to entrance �on left at O 'Connor Woods Retirement Community.
