Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest <br /> possible opportunity. The sensor was relocated to the lowest point of the sump by the service technician. Ensure <br /> that all monitoring equipment is maintained to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 307 CCR 2631(g), 2632(c)Monitoring system of the interstitial space of a double walled system not maintained. <br /> The 87 product annular sensor failed to activate an audible and visual alarm when tested and,therefore,the tank is <br /> not monitored. The interstitial space shall be monitored with a monitoring system connected to an audible and visual <br /> alarm system. Immediately contact a properly licensed,trained, and certified contractor to replace the failed <br /> component with a functional component(LG 113-x listed, if applicable)under permit, if required, and inspection of <br /> the EHD within one business day. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 318 CCR 2636(f)(2)Leak detector failed to detect a 3.0 gallons per hour leak at 10 pounds per square inch. <br /> The 87 product line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. All line leak detectors shall be capable of <br /> detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. Immediately have a properly licensed,trained,and certified contractor <br /> repair or replace the failed leak detector(LG 113-x listed, if applicable)and obtain a permit, if required,within one <br /> business day from the EHD. If the failed leak detector can't be replaced immediately,there is a possibility that the <br /> 87 product UST system may be red tagged to prevent fuel inputs. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 320 CCR 2635, 2637.2, 2665, 2712 Failure to comply with the installation, inspection, or record keeping of the overfill <br /> prevention. <br /> Owners or operators of underground storage tanks that do not meet California Code of regulations,title 23 division <br /> 3, chapter 16 section 2635(c)(2)shall test overfill prevention equipment once by October 13th, 2018 and every 36 <br /> months thereafter; and within 30 days of the date of a repair.The site submitted a test notification to conducted the <br /> inspection on 3/5/19,over four months late. Ensure to conduct overfill prevention equipment inspection within the time <br /> frame provided by the regulation and submit test results within 30 days of performing the inspection. Ensure a 48 <br /> hour notification is provided to EHD prior to conducting the inspection.
