Slowly loosen the old filter allowing the residual gasoline contained in the
housing to drain into the catch -cup or bucket.
11. Pour free product (gasoline) from the filter and catch -cup into the recycle
container.
12. Place the empty, drained filter into a transport container to be cleaned later.
13. Carefully remove the dispenser screen. Flush to remove any grit or debris
and replace.
14. Attach the new filter to the dispenser following the manufacturer's
instructions.
15. Carefully set the shear valves to the open position, being aware of any
leakage that might occur. If leakage is present, immediately set the shear
valves to the closed position and tighten the appropriate connections.
16. Repeat the steps for removing filters until all necessary filters have been
changed.
17. If any spillage occurred while removing the old filter, spray a light mist of
F1 186-2 solution into the dispenser. This will suppress vapors generated
from, the product spillage. Spray at least as much volume as was spilled. Use
adsorbent pads to remove excess liquid from the sump.
Filter Cleaning
18.
