ail <br /> I <br /> The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for LATHROP WATER TREATMENT FACILITY/ CORP YARD as of <br /> September 22, 2016. <br /> Open violations from May 10, 2016 inspection <br /> Violation #1605 - Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> At time of inspection: <br /> -The twenty yard roll off bin did not have a legible hazardous waste label. The words hazardous waste were visible. <br /> -Used Mercuric Bromide test strips seen in the lab did not have a hazardous waste label on them. <br /> -Two 1 gallon containers of by-lux bright(safety) red were seen, wet, open behind the storage shed, without a <br /> hazardous waste label. <br /> -One coffee can marked"paint thinner", open, with liquid inside seen stored under a piece of equipment near the <br /> storage shed, without a hazardous waste label. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> Since these containers have been on site longer than 90 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> i <br /> l <br /> Page 6 of 6 <br />
