Tanknology OPW Ball Float Inspection Reference Material <br /> The 30MV series is designed to meet EPA's requirement to notify the delivery driver of an overfill 30 minutes prior <br /> to the overfill occuring. <br /> The 30MV will have a 1/16 inch breather hole. <br /> The 53V series is designed to alert the driver of an overfill by restricting flow when the tank reaches 90% of the <br /> liquid capacity. The 53V will have a 1/8 inch breather hole. <br /> Specifying the Proper Length 53V Ball Float <br /> • Step 1: <br /> Determine Dimension "X" Consult the tank chart(provided by the tank manufacturer)to determine the distance that <br /> corresponds to 10% of the total tank capacity <br /> • Step 2: <br /> Determine Dimension "Y".
