County Roads Department and paid prior to <br /> implementation of the Project. <br /> Steps to Compliance: <br /> A. This measure will be included as a condition of approval in the CUP. <br /> B. This measure will be monitored by the Kern County Roads Department. <br /> Kern County Roads Department will notify the Kern County Planning <br /> Department upon receipt of required funds. <br /> #26 MM 4.8-2. The Project applicant will consult with Prior to commencement of Caltrans <br /> 4.8-3 Caltrans to develop plans to install a temporary operations permitted by Kern County Roads <br /> deceleration lane for west-bound traffic on State Route planning approvals. Department <br /> 46 to make right turns onto Holloway Road, as well as a <br /> temporary acceleration lane for west-bound traffic to <br /> make right turns onto State Route 46 from Holloway <br /> Road. The applicant will install these improvements <br /> per the approved plans and to the satisfaction of <br /> Caltrans prior to commencement of increased waste <br /> deliveries. These improvements will provide for <br /> improved safety at the Holloway Road/State Route 46 <br /> intersection on an interim basis until the State Route 46 <br /> 4-Lane widening project is completed. <br /> Steps to Compliance: j <br /> A. This measure will be monitored by Caltrans and the Kern County Roads <br /> Department. <br /> B. Upon completion of Caltrans consultation, the project applicant will <br /> notify the Kern County Roads Department and Kern County Planning <br /> Department of the results and definition of scope for the required work. <br /> Justification: The Project has the potential to impact transportation and traffic during Project operations. Changes in or alterations have been <br /> incorporated into the Project that substantially lessen the potentially significant effects as identified in the Final EIR, so that environmental effects <br /> after such mitigation are reduced to a less than significant level. <br /> 24 <br /> Final Board of Supervisors 3/15/16 <br />
