The secondary contair ment for the used oil drums were partially filled with oily liquid. All facility <br /> communication or alarms stems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and <br /> decontamination equipme it, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its <br /> proper operation in time o emergency. Correct immediately by removing the oily liquid from the <br /> secondary containment ar d manage it properly per California Title 22 Hazardous Waste Regulations. <br /> Continue to ensure that th secondary containment is maintained free of liquid and debris. Minor-Notice <br /> to Comply. <br /> 79. The universal waste ( W) lamps were stored outside the north wall of the main shop not in a closed <br /> container. A UW handler hall manage lamps in a way that prevents releases of any UW or component <br /> of a UW to the environme t, as follows: (1) a UW handler shall contain any lamp in a container or <br /> package that is structurall sound, adequate to prevent breakage, and compatible with the contents of <br /> the lamp. Such a contain r or package shall remain closed and shall lack evidence of leakage, spillage <br /> or damage that could cau e leakage under reasonably foreseeable conditions. Correct immediately by <br /> containerizing these UW I mps per California Title 22 Hazardous Waste Regulations. Continue to <br /> ensure that the UW lamp are properly managed. Minor-Notice to Comply. <br /> Note: the following were c rrected on site during the inspection. <br /> 20. Containers of hazard us waste (HW) used oil, oily water, and oily sludge/solids lacked HW labels, or <br /> had blank HW labels. All azardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous aste" <br /> 2. name and address of g nerator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start dat <br /> Ray Simmons completed and posted the provided labels on the HW drums. Continue to ensure that all <br /> hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> 23. Drained used oil filter were left in an unmarked and open bucket. Used oil filters must be stored in a <br /> a closed, rainproof contai er, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start <br /> date.
