California Tank Lines, Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> Waste Oil Tana Assessment Report <br /> Hazardous Waste Tank Assessment Report and Worksheet <br /> Title 22 CCR, 66265.192 (a) <br /> Foundation,structural support, seams, connections and pressure controls (if applicable) are <br /> adequately designed and that the tank system has sufficient structural strength, compatibility with <br /> the waste(s) to be transferred, stored or treated, and corrosion protection so that it will not collapse <br /> rupture ture or fail. <br /> Comments: <br /> The PE confirm,9 that the tante system and all of its related components .meet the criteria outlined in the <br /> "title ?2 CCR, 66265.192 (a). <br /> a)(1)--Design standards according to which the tanks are or will be constructed. <br /> Comments: <br /> Based on manufacturer's specifications, the installed tank was designed, constructed, and listed in <br /> accordance with Underwriters .f..aboratories, Inc. Standard Ul, 142- 1'4 listing shall meet requirements <br /> for atmospheric tanks of the National Fire Protection Association Sections 30, 30A, 31 and the Uniform <br /> Fire Code Article 79. Manufacturer's brochures and specifications are attached. <br /> (a 2)--Iiazardous waste characteristics of the wastes that have been or will be handled. <br /> Comments: <br /> Materials to be stored: Waste Oil <br /> Hazardous Characteristics- NFPA Code—Health (1), Fire (2), Reactivity (0), Specific Hazard (None) <br /> (a)(3) For new tank systems or components in which the external shell of a metal tank or any <br /> external metal component of the tank system is or will he in contact with the soil or with water, a <br /> determination by a corrosion expert of: <br /> A) Factors affecting the potential for corrasion, including but not limited to: <br /> L Soil moisture content; <br /> 2. Soil PH; <br /> 3. Soil sulfides level; <br /> 4. Soil resistivity; <br /> 5. Structure to soil potential; <br /> 6. Influence of nearby underground metal structures; <br /> 7, Stray electric current; and <br /> S. Existing corrosion-protection measures; <br /> And <br /> B) Type and degree of external corrosion that are needed consisting of one or more of the <br /> following- <br /> 1.
