Failed to remove waste stored in a damaged or leaking container. <br /> Boxes of multi surface cleaner were seen stacked and shrink wrapped on a pallet,waiting for a physical review of the product,near the <br /> hazardous waste storage area. Some boxes obviously contained leaking bottles,boxes were wet and liquid was seen on the floor under <br /> and near the pallet. Bottles that were damaged and/or leaking were to be removed and handled as hazardous waste. Employees stated it <br /> would be cleaned up immediately. The next day the same pallet was seen with wet boxes,and saturated absorbent on the ground around <br /> the pallet. <br /> If a container holding hazardous waste is not in good condition,or if it begins to leak,the owner or operator shall transfer the hazardous <br /> waste from this container to a container that is in good condition. <br /> Immediately begin this practice for storage of hazardous waste.Take all necessary precautions to prevent this in the future. Submit to the <br /> EHD a written statement explaining what was done to correct this and how this will be prevented in the future. <br /> 601.Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> 5-5 g buckets of used oils were not labeled with a start accumulation date. There were no disposal records for used oil available for <br /> review. Since it cannot be determined how long the 5-5g buckets of used have been on site,immediately contact a licensed hazardous <br /> waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by September 6,2014. <br /> 605. Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> 1-55g drum of corrosive acids was missing the contents and the generator name <br /> 3-white plastic totes marked product assessment area were missing all required information <br /> 1-55g drum of aerosols,flammables,and combustibles was missing start accumulation date and generator name <br /> 1-55g drum of oil pads&absorbent was missing the words"hazardous waste",physical state,and hazardous property <br /> 5-5g buckets of used oils were missing all required information <br /> 1-55g drum of corrosive bases was missing contents and generator name <br /> 1-55g drum of oxidizers was missing generator name <br /> 1-55g drum of state regulated was missing generator name <br /> 1-white plastic tote of state regulated waste was missing generator name <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. The words "hazardous waste" <br /> 2. Name and address of generator <br /> 3. Hazardous properties(flammable,corrosive,reactive,toxic) <br /> 4. Physical state(liquid,solid) <br /> 5.
