All wastes were taken to the 2lst Century EMI disposal facility located in Fernley, <br />Nevada. <br />IV. VERIFICATION TESTING/SAMPLING <br />Decontamination Testing Summary <br />Verification testing on decontaminated surfaces was completed in the field using pH paper to test <br />rinse water. Drummed rinsates were tested using a pH meter. Table 1 lists the area tested and <br />the test results of final rinse liquids. The analytical results of the final rinse liquids are provided <br />in Attachment 1. <br />Soil Sampling Summary — Verification Samples from Borings <br />Based on a visual inspection of the floor, etching and cracks were evident and soil verification <br />samples were required by DTSC. A site investigation workplan, dated August 8, 2008, was <br />completed and submitted to DTSC. The workplan was approved on September 4, 2008. Eight <br />soil borings were completed at approved locations within the facility to determine if subsurface <br />soil had been impacted by plating shop activities. One boring was also completed outside the <br />0837 CRpt 4 GRI <br />
