The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for GILL EXPRESS INC as of September21, 2018. <br /> Open violations from August 17, 2018 inspection <br /> Violation#605 -Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> -The filter crusher and used filters are being drained into a spill pallet. This spill pallet is not emptied daily per <br /> supervisor. Spill pallet was missing a label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of paper filters was observed in the quick lube area labeled as drained used <br /> oil-filters <br /> -Three black metal 55 gallon drums of paper filters in the outside hazardous waste storage area were observed <br /> without an accumulation start date on the labels <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of paper filters in the hazardous waste storage area was observed labeled as <br /> drained used oil-filters <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> Since these containers have been on site longer than 90 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> Violation#608 - Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of drained used oil-filters was observed in the quick lube area without a lid, <br /> missing an accumulation start date and labeled as paper filters <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of drained used oil-filters was observed in the outside storage area without a lid <br /> and labeled as an empty drum <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of drained used oil-filters was observed in the outside storage area with a lid that <br /> was not securely closed and an open bung hole. <br /> Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used <br /> oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately close all drums when not in use and properly <br /> label the drained used oil filters and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> Open violations from May 02, 2016 inspection <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br />
