The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for GILL EXPRESS INC as of September21, 2018. <br /> Open violations from May 02, 2016 inspection <br /> Violation #605 - Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> I. The following containers had no hazardous waste labels: <br /> 1) 55-gallon container(stored inside the repair bay) of waste diesel fuel with holes drilled in its top <br /> 2) 5 gallon open container with oily liquid stored inside the repair pit; it was unclear how often this container is being <br /> emptied, Mr. Jatinder indicated it's being used during oil draining operations. <br /> 3) One open 55-gallon open container stored below the filter crusher containing oily liquid; Mr. Jatinder indicated <br /> that this container is not emptied on a daily basis and is emptied when it gets full. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br /> Violation#608 -Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> The following containers were noted at the time of inspection: <br /> 1) One 55-gallon container of commingled filters (oil and gasoline filters)was open and had an accumulation start <br /> date of 2-24-15 <br /> 2) Six 55-gallon containers of commingled filters had lids which were not secured . Used oil filters shall be drained <br /> of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters," and marked with an <br /> accumulation start date. Immediately containerize all filters and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this <br /> way. <br /> Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that <br /> generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters <br /> (dated 2-24-15) under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> Page 7 of 7 <br />
