9 e <br /> 01Y Hazardous Waste Management <br /> 9SMRES. <br /> FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) <br /> Because there are many process involved in the Hazardous Waste Management Program, a list of <br /> Frequently Asked Questions is posted on 99 Central to communicate some of the answers to common <br /> questions being asked by Store Management. Store Management should print and maintain an updated <br /> copy of the FAQs in the Hazardous Waste Management Binder for all 99ers to review. <br /> TRAINING RECORDS <br /> Up to date employee training records are required to be kept and made available upon request to any <br /> inspector. 99¢ Only Stores Training Roster must be used for each Hazardous Waste Training session, even <br /> if it is only (1) 99er being trained. A copy of all completed rosters must be kept in the Hazardous Waste <br /> Management Binder. <br /> DAILY INSPECTION LOGS (Self Inspections) <br /> 99¢ Only Stores Policy requires the store manager on duty to inspect the Hazardous Waste Accumulation <br /> Area at least once during their shift. Once an inspection log is completed, it must be kept on file in the <br /> Hazardous Waste Management Binder for 12 months. <br /> MANIFESTS / LDR (Land Disposal Restriction) FORM <br /> P� ilA Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest is used to document the transfer of Hazardous - - - <br /> Waste from the store to the disposal facility. Our Vendor Stericycle fills the Manifest m <br /> out every time Hazardous Waste is picked up from a store. The Hauler leaves an <br /> n,,s <br /> initial copy at the store at the time of pick-up. Once the Hazardous Waste is delivered . <br /> to the Treatment Storage of Disposal Facility (TSDF) the Hauler hands the manifest - <br /> over to the TSDF who signs it indicating the Hazardous Waste has been properly <br /> disposed of. The TSDF then sends the Final Manifest back to the store who must <br /> keep it on file in the Hazardous Waste Management Binder for a minimum of 3 years. <br /> A current Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) Form must be kept with the manifests and �-"— <br /> bl6f?ff5d6z5V&II'6bi b an inspector upon request. <br /> Manifest <br /> EPA ID NUMBER/ CERTIFICATE - (CA Only) <br /> Each store is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and has a --- <br /> valid EPA ID number. This number is issued by the EPA to businesses that generate - - <br /> Hazardous Waste and is used for tracking purposes.
