The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for Becker Transmission and Auto Repair as of November06 , 2018 . Open violations from August 23 , 2018 inspection Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. This facility' s hazardous waste ID number is inactive . A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store , dispose of, transport or offer for transportation , hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go to the DTSC web site http : //www. dtsc. ca . gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID. cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number . Immediately reactivate your state ID number and submit evidence to the EHD . Violation #110 - Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years . Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for used oil (2015) and for used antifreeze (2018 , 20171 2016 , and 2015 ) were not found on site . Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years , maintain them on site , and submit copies to the EHD . Violation #113 - Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years . Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for used oil (2015 ) and for used antifreeze (2018 , 2017 , 2016 , and 2015) were not found on site . Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years , maintain them on site , and submit copies to the EHD . Violation #117 - Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. An inspection was last done on 6/19/2015 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be submitted to bring this site into compliance. This information was required to be submitted by 7/19/2015 . This information has not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken . Ensure that a written response documenting corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. Outstanding violations from the 6/ 19/2015 inspection include : - Managed a hazardous waste without a valid EPA ID number Violation #301 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. A black 55 -gallon drum labeled as and containing drained used oil filters was found with an open lid and used oil and oil filters sitting on top of the lid . A pile of stained , possibly oily, rags and dark staining was found beneath and adjacent to a piece of machinery on the south side of the shop . Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire , explosion , or release of hazardous waste to air, soil , or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean the standing oil on the lid of the black used oil filter drum and clean up the stained rags and floor near the machinery on the south side of the shop and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations . Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed . Violation #302 - Failed to maintain required emergency equipment. The fire extinguisher located adjacent the used oil tank was found not fully charged . All facilities shall be equipped with properly charged fire extinguishers , an internal communication or alarm system , a device capable of calling outside emergency help , spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment at all times . Immediately remove the improperly charged fire extinguisher, replace it with a properly charged fire extinguisher, and maintain all emergency equipment on site . Page 1 of 2
