Earthquake Vulnerability: [19 CCR§2731(e)] <br /> Areas of the facility and mechanical or other systems that require immediate inspection or isolation because of their <br /> vulnerability to earthquake-related ground motion are described on Page ER4. <br /> 5. Responsibilities <br /> a. It is the responsibility of all employees to conduct his/her job on a safe manner and in accordance with safety rules <br /> designated to protect employees,public health and the environment. <br /> b. It is the responsibility of the Emergency Coordinator to respond to all Hazardous Materials Incidents; ensure that the <br /> necessary notification to emergency response agencies are made; manage the scene until relieved by agencies who <br /> have jurisdictional responsibility for coordination of the scene.He/she has the responsibility to complete the <br /> necessary reports of the incident and make them available to the Facility Manager or his/he designee. A detailed list <br /> of responsibilities is shown in item 2.Emergency Coordinator Responsibilities. <br /> c. Current inventory information on hazardous materials/hazardous waste handled and stored on site in addition to a <br /> current business response plan shall be maintained on file with OES and the County Environmental Health <br /> Department. <br /> .i. A current facility map will be maintained on file with OES and the County Environmental Health Department <br /> indicating locations where hazardous materials are normally stored. <br /> e. A current copy of the business response plan and a facility map shall be sent to the local fire agency or fire district in <br /> which the business is located. <br /> f. This information is to be made available to all employees and public agencies at all times. <br /> 6. Emergency Coordinator Responsibilities: [22 CCR§66265.55 and §66265.561 <br /> Emergency Coordinators at this business are: (1)John Bernadicou(General Manager)and(2)Randy Day(Product <br /> Support Manager). <br /> Evaluating situation and determining necessary action—The Emergency Coordinators will be primarily responsible <br /> for emergency response in any emergency. If needed, either will be assisted by managers or senior staff within the service <br /> deparetment, body shop, or parts department. The emergency coordinator will notify Bryan McCampbell,the <br /> Environmental&Facilities Manager at the corporate office (541-341-3344)immediately following emergency response. <br /> a. Whenever there is an imminent or actual emergency situation such as a explosion, fire, or release, the emergency <br /> coordinator(or his/her designee when the emergency coordinator is on call) shall: <br /> i. Identify the character,exact source, amount, and areal extent of any released hazardous materials. <br /> ii. Assess possible hazards to human health or the environment that may result from the explosion, fire, or release. <br /> This assessment must consider both direct and indirect effects (e.g., the effects of any toxic, irritating, or <br /> asphyxiating gases that are generated, the effects of any hazardous surface water run-off from water or chemical <br /> agents used to control fire, etc). <br /> iii. Activate internal facility alarms or communications systems,where applicable,to notify all facility personnel. <br /> iv.
