When you are doing a project please take enough time to do it right the first time.We do
not have time to try it the second time.Especially in the winter.
Some of the changes that will be made are:
1. We will not turn windrows any less than two days before a rain/storm.
2. Windrows will be cleaned up as soon as the turn is done preferably as we are
turning.
3. Any grading that needs to be done will be done as soon as possible.
4. All drain area's will be kept open and trash or compost material will be kept out of
the area.
5. Windrow's will not turned any sooner than two days after a rain/storm.
6. Truck traffic in the compost area will monitored and direction given as needed to
keep the area as straight as possible. This has been a challenge in the past but can
be ddne.Remember this site is yours not the truck driver,if you have a problem let
myself or Mark Lance know as soon as you can. This will insure that damage is
' kept to minimum.
7. When piles are put on the top tipping area they are to be at this location until the
ground is stable enough for loaders to work and the product put in windrows as
soon as possible.
8. I welcome any suggestions that you guys might have to make this work better. Both
of you are doing a good job. Keep up the high standard of wort:that you are,and
this will be a snap to accomplish.
2
