The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for SMART TECH DIESEL REPAIR as of December 08, 2020. <br /> Open violations from October 15, 2020 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#605-Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. <br /> In the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One blue and one black 55 gallon steel drum containing paper oil filters had hazardous waste labels that were <br /> missing the accumulation start date. <br /> -One 275 gallon plastic tote containing used antifreeze was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> In the shop: <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing paper oil filters had a hazardous waste label that was missing the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
