PARCEL VICINITY LOCATION MAP San Joaquin County Assessor's Map Book 216 Page 31 depicts the site parcel (APN 216- 310-180) in the western portion of the page. The parcel is bordered to the north by West Joseph Road followed by single-family residential property (216-310-020) and to the east, west and south by single-family residential properties (216-310-170; -190, -200, -210). The parcel vicinity map and a satellite overview map are included in Appendix A. 1.4. SITE MAP A plan of the specific site features (i.e., structures, drives, wells, septic systems, large trees, pastures, etc.) is illustrated in Figure 2. 2.0. PRESENT AND PAST USAGE OF SITE The property is currently being used for residential purposes and has been historically utilized for residential purposes. The current residential dwelling was erected on the property in 1948. Prior to residential development, the property was likely used for light agricultural purposes. The property is situated in the southwest portion of the city of Manteca, San Joaquin County, California. 2.1 POTENTIAL SITE PROBLEM ASSESSMENT Water supply for the property is currently provided by the existing onsite domestic water well. The well is approximately 80 feet away from the existing septic system and will be over 115 feet away from the proposed septic system area (Figure 2). The development of a residence and new septic system will not affect water being supplied to the property. 3.0. EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE The current septic system includes a residential system located to the south of the existing residential structure (Figure 2). The septic system is utilized by the residence and is permitted for a four-bedroom house. The existing septic system and leach field (filter bed) extend to the south of the residence and is located approximately 80 to 100 feet away from the onsite water well. The septic system is utilized 365 days a year by the four- bedroom house (Figure 2; Appendix B).
