June 11 , 1985 <br /> I . FINDINGS <br /> A . This existing facility is a large volume transfer and resource <br /> recovery station open to commercial and public vehicles . The six (6) <br /> acre station site is located at 1333 E. Turner Road , Lodi , San Joaquin <br /> County , California. The station site consists of a dwelling , office , <br /> vehicle storage building , repair and storage building , a wash down area , <br /> a resource recovery building , a scale and scale house , and a loading <br /> ramp . The fiber baler and reclamation bins are located in the transfer <br /> area of the site. The entire transfer station is on an asphalt and <br /> concrete surface . Loads containing recoverable materials are dumped by <br /> hand , with the aid of a front end loader , tractor , and a fork lift . <br /> Leaves and wood are routed tothe composting area and wood grinding area. <br /> Remaining non-salvageable wastes are—when—t-ra-rrs-f-er-r.e_d_ into 50 foot live <br /> bottom transfer trailers and transported to the Sanitary Landfill . <br /> Hazardous wastes are not accepted at the transfer and resource recovery <br /> station . An average of 40 to 50 tons of waste are processed per day . <br /> Operating hours are 7 :00 .m. to 5 :00 p .m. , Monday through Sunday . <br /> Anticipated reclaimable materials expected at 15% to 25% of total volume . <br /> Equipment to be used at the site include : 4-50 foot live bottom trailers . <br /> 4 cab-over tractors , 4 front loader tractors , 1-6000 pound fork lift , 6 <br /> to 12 reclamation containers , 1-2000 pound capacity fiber-baler , 1 <br /> woodchipper , and 1 compost turner. <br /> Additional information concerning the facility ' s design and operation is <br /> included in the Plant of Operation for Targe Volume Transfer Stations . <br /> Tentative and Final Maps will be available upon completion . <br /> B. The legal description of the site is all that land located in <br /> the Northeasterly one-quarter of Section 6, T3N , R7E, MDB&M, and more <br /> particularly described as follows : <br /> This permit is granted solely to the operator named above, and <br /> is not transferable. Upon a change of operator , this permit <br /> is subject to revocation . Upon a significant change in design <br /> or operation from that described in this permit or in attachments <br /> thereto for th-e existing design and operation of a facility <br /> operating immediatley prior to August 15 , 1977 , or from the <br /> approved intended design and operation of a facility which was <br /> not operating prior to August 15 , 1977 , or which herein is <br /> granted a permit modification , this permit is subject to <br /> revocation , suspension , modification or other appropriate action . <br />
