No need to do
TTLC and STLC, unless you were trying to find a toxicity characteristic as well.
I hope this email helps. Please reach out if you want further information.
Have a good day,
JASON GAITAN
EHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
(209)468-3420-Office
(209)468-3433-Fax
1868 E. For a new waste determination, what will be the standard
testing you would suggest we request at the lab;this new sample I'm intending to send in, has tested corrosive using
litmus paper( pH value=0-1)
Do you suggest to request TTLC and STLC as supposed to a TCLP?The consistency of the sample is tacky and suspected
to be a mix of industrial coatings that were caught in a secondary containment.
Do you advise to do VOCs (EPA 8260B), Ignitability(EPA 1030) and pH (EPA 904SD), or we can disregard the later one
due to the litmus paper sample?
Please advise.
Best
Denisse Vignon Fernandez
1
