Corrective Action Statements
Item # 303. Repeat violation, Class II. CCR 66265.33 Failed to maintain all communication or alarm
systems, spill control,or decontamination equipment.
The secondary containment outside the maintenance shop had a sludge collected in the low spot and
an oil spill underneath the three blue 55-gallon drums. All facility communications or alarm systems,
fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required,
shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency.
Immediately begin this practice.
Sludge in the low spot and underneath the three blue 55-gallon drums has been removed. To prevent
recurrence, we have revised our waste and oil inspection forms to be more comprehensive; we have also
installed signs to remind employees about better practices to prevent spillages at the area.
t=:
--' Nbr •Ppn
r/f n' .
MMA-CII lAIMA3L 4
•F''3 OU.US l'n!i[IS FLAMM6CLE
S I LIQUIDS
mnnnu
Page 4 of 8
