S b N J 0 A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> CCU NTY <br /> RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> AMERON INTERNATIONAL 1 10100 W LINNE RD,TRACY October 18, 2018 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> -Two black metal 55 gallon drums of used oil were observed in the satellite accumulation area outside the <br /> maintenance shop with unreadable labels. <br /> -One white plastic 55 gallon drum of used antifreeze was observed in the satellite accumulation area outside the <br /> maintenance shop without a label. <br /> -Three black metal 55 gallon drums of waste primer outside the special coatings building were observed without <br /> labels. <br /> -Three yellow one gallon containers of corrosive material was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without <br /> labels. <br /> -One black one gallon container was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without a label. <br /> -One black container of thinner was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without a label. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> One black metal 55 gallon drum of drained used oil-filters was observed without an accumulation start date on the <br /> label. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil,stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained <br /> used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately mark the date and ensure that all used oil <br /> filters are managed in this way. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by November 19, 2018. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
