Material Processing, Handling, and Storage Practices <br /> 1. Processing <br /> a. Feedstock <br /> Feedstock is processed within 30 days. The compost process can take up <br /> to 120 days. <br /> b. Processed Material <br /> All incoming material is immediately placed into rows with turning and <br /> processing beginning within 15 days. Processed material is stored until <br /> used for up to 120 days. <br /> 2. Pile Geometry <br /> a. Feedstock <br /> Rows average 30' W x 12' H x 200' L. <br /> b. Processed Material <br /> Processed material remains in rows until used for Ag purposes. <br /> I. Weather Event Impacts <br /> As stated, historical wind data indicates prevailing wind is from the <br /> southwest (delta breeze 5-10 mph).
