J. Contingency Plans
1. Fire Prevention
Advanced Soils does not store feedstock in large piles which can
generate excessive heat. Processed material is removed as soon as
possible; however, material is monitored 3 times a week, i.e.
temperature monitoring via digital temperature probe. If material is
found hot it will be deconstructed and cooled. The entire yard is kept
weed free and clean to prevent fires from moving row to row/pile to pile
or off-site.
2. Water Supply
Water is obtained for material processing and fire control from a deep
well on location. The well and drip system are connected to the well
onsite and from Caton Ag, Inc. feed lot which has one well, and a full
holding pond and two 4,000 gallon water trucks.
3.
