STATE OF CALIFORNIA GEORGE DEUKMEJIAN,Governor <br /> CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD— <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> 3443 ROUTIER ROAD <br /> SACRAMENTO,CA 95827-3098 <br /> 11 May 1989 <br /> Mr. Alan Beiderman, Sanitation <br /> San Joaquin County Local Health District <br /> P.O.Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, Ca 95201 <br /> INSPECTION OF CANNERY WASTE FEEDING SITES <br /> On 3rd and 4th April , I accompanied you on an inspection tour of various <br /> livestock feeding operations where cannery waste is utilized for livestock feed <br /> (see attached) . <br /> From the inspection it appears that there were no violations of water quality <br /> regulations related to the use of the cannery wastes on sites 1 through 14. <br /> F.W. Cattle Company is under investigation for possible threats to water quality. <br /> The water quality threats are related to the handling of food processing wastes. <br /> A waste management plan has been requested of the operator Mr. Robert Ronyak, <br /> but no plan has been received. <br /> If you have any questions or comments, feel free to call me at (916) 361-5711. <br /> FLAA.VL4j j-4-'ale <br /> LOUIS F.
