Page 3of141VIZ The proposed septic system is planned to be installed in the northeastern area of the subject property (Figure 2). The proposed septic system will consist of a 1,600-gallon septic tank with two compartments, three 80-foot long leach lines, and three 42-inch wide by 20-inch deep seepage pits. The septic system will be connected to the four-bedroom home planned to be developed on the property and will be utilized 365 days a year. 3.1. EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE There is currently no septic system at the subject property. 3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY There are several liquid waste septic permits on file at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the subject property, the following is a summary of the permits on file: • EHD Permit #473, dated April 1951: New installation of an 800-gallon septic tank and one 100-foot long leach line permitted for a two-bedroom residence. • EHD Permit #4119, dated June 1953: Addition of one 100-foot long leach line to the existing leach field. • EHD Permit #18552, dated March 1965: New installation of a 1,500-gallon septic tank, four 18-foot long leach lines, two 40-foot long leach lines, and one seepage pit permitted for a two-bedroom residence. • EHD Permit #89-1456, dated June 1989: Addition of one 10-foot long leach line to the existing leach field. • EHD Permit SR0082001, dated April 2020: Destruction of septic tank. Copies of the liquid waste permits are provided in Appendix B. 3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY There are two septic tank repair/addition permits on file at the EHD for the property, the following is a summary of the permits on file: • EHD Permit #4119, dated June 1953: Addition of one 100-foot long leach line to the existing leach field. • EHD Permit #89-1456, dated June 1989: Addition of one 10-foot long leach line to the existing leach field. Copies of the liquid waste repair/addition permits are provided in Appendix B.
