Additionally, the Laboratory report for the soil analysis, testing
methods, laboratory QA/QC reports, and sample chain of custody shall be submitted directly to the
EHD by CTEL.
3.4. GRAB GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
If ground water is encountered during the excavation, a grab sample will be collected using
disposable bailers. Samples will be collected into 40-m1 volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials,1-liter
amber bottles, and plastic sample containers as appropriate for the required analyses; ground water
sample collection procedures are presented in Section 4.3 Ground water samples maybe analyzed
by CTEL for the constituents listed in section 3.3.
Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report.
Additionally, the Laboratory report for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory QA/QC
reports, and sample chain of custody shall be submitted directly to the EHD by CTEL.
3.5. SOIL DISPOSAL
s If contaminated or impacted soil is encountered during the investigation, the material will be
characterized, the hydrocarbon -impacted excavated soil will then be transported to Forward Landfill
of Manteca California, a licenced Class II waste disposal facility, for proper disposal.
3.6. REPORT PREPARATION
Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared
presenting the findings of the soil removal activities. The report will include a description of the
work performed and the results of the sampling and analysis. Conclusions and applicable
recommendations will be included in the report. The report will be in a format acceptable to the EHD
and CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist.
All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California
Registered Geologist. Procedures for soil excavation, soil sampling and equipment decontamination
are outlined below.
Advanced Environmental Inc.
dva ced Geo ,
1
