Hi Megan, The Stockton Fire Department has reviewed the subject application (PA-2000216} which is for the construction of a new 3,520 SF warehouse storage building. Please note the following conditions: • Applicant needs to submit plans for the project to the Stockton Fire Department for review and approval. • Applicant needs to provide location of nearest fire hydrant to the property. A fire hydrant is required within 150 feet of the proposed new structure. • Building appears to be an addition to the existing shop building which is attached to the office building. Based on overall square footage, the overall building area does not exceed 12,000 SF, thus eliminating the requirement for automatic fire sprinklers. • Building setback distance to the north property line needs to be reviewed by the San Joaquin County Building Department for proper setback distance requirements and/or fire-rated construction on the wall abutting the northern property line. Unable to determine distance with site plan exhibit that was provided with the application. Please submit these comments/conditions to the applicant.
