I of wastewater treatment project certification for award of <br /> 2 Federal and State grants to the City for such wastewater treat- <br /> 3 ment facilities requires City to agree "to participate in and <br /> 4 implement the basin or metropolitan/regional plan accepted by <br /> 5 the Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to the require- <br /> 6 ments of 18 CFR 601. " <br /> 7 E. Federal and State conceptual approval of the County <br /> 8 Hospital Interceptor Project included approval of pumping and <br /> 9 transmission capacity for the wastewater from County Hospital <br /> 10 Complex including all County departments located at the Complex. <br /> 11 F. County by Resolution R-76-3402, dated April 27 , 1976 , <br /> 12 has indicated its intent to participate in a coordinated water <br /> 13 quality management program utilizing the Regional System. <br /> 14 G. A long term agreement is required for the purpose <br /> 15 herein stated and the City intends to enter into agreements for <br /> 16 use of the Regional System by others . <br /> 17 NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed as follows; <br /> 1S SECTION 1. DEFINITIONS AND ABBREVIATIONS <br /> 19 Unless otherwise defined herein , terms related to water <br /> 20 quality shall be as adopted in the latest edition of Standard <br /> 21 Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, published <br /> 22 by the American Public Health Association, the American Water <br /> 23 Works Association, and the Water Pollution Control Federation. <br /> 24 The testing procedures for waste constituents and characteristics <br /> 25 shall be as provided in 40 CFR 136 , (Code of Federal Regulations ; <br /> 26 Title 40; Protection of Environment; Chapter 1, Environmental <br /> 27 Protection Agency Part 136, Test Procedures for the Analyses of <br /> 2 - <br /> 0 Co.
