1 solely by the City. <br /> 2 The City is committed to the renovation of wastewater <br /> 3 through tertiary wastewater treatment processes and also is <br /> 4 likely to undertake studies for wastewater renovation and reuse <br /> 5 to supplement sources of water supply. Such reuse of treated <br /> 6 wastewater may necessitate more stringent quality requirements <br /> 7 for discharge into the Regional System than is required by <br /> 8 other regulatory agencies. <br /> 9 SECTION 6. CITY TO ADMINISTER REGIONAL SYSTEM <br /> 10 The City shall administer this Agreement and shall do all <br /> 11 acts necessary to the proper execution for the maximum public <br /> 12 benefit and the common purpose. This shall be accomplished by <br /> 13 regulating sewer use and wastewater discharges , by providing <br /> 14 fair and equitable distribution of the Regional System costs , <br /> 15 and by providing procedures that allow City to comply with <br /> 16 requirements placed upon City by other regulatory agencies. <br /> 17 The City shall administer, construct, operate, manage and <br /> 18 control the Regional System in an efficient and economical <br /> 19 manner and maintain and preserve it in good repair and working <br /> 20 order in accord with sound engineering practices. <br /> 21 For the purposes of this Agreement, the point of delivery <br /> 22 for discharge of County wastewater into the Regional System is <br /> 23 designated and described in Section 9B, which follows . All of <br /> 24 the portions of the sewerage facilities which are at or are <br /> 25 downstream from such designated point of delivery and are <br /> 26 constructed for the express purpose of effecting County con- <br /> 27 nection to existing City facilities shall be considered to be a <br /> 9 - <br /> 0 CO.
