15.0 Bulk Storage Containers 112.8(c) <br /> 15.1 Tank Design and Overview — 40 CFR 112. (c)(1) <br /> The welded steel storage tank is compatible with the diesel fuel stored within it. <br /> The 10,000 GA highway diesel tank is a cylindrical horizontal, double-walled, welded steel tank, <br /> fabricated by Redding Tank in Anderson, CA. The tank is labeled in conformance with UL 2085 <br /> standard and meets 5T Fireguard standards. The unit is anchored to a concrete slab footing of <br /> unknown thickness. All visible ports in the primary tank are along the top or "12 o'clock position. <br /> There are several 3 to 4 inch openings, either plugged or containing a suction pipe to the <br /> dispenser pump, clock gage and an elevated fill/dispense vent with weather head and filter. <br /> Additionally, there are individual emergency relief vents of the primary and secondary tank. <br /> Personnel access to the ground level fill point is via an enclosed fill point box at waist level with <br /> spillage pan. <br /> There is protective coating. <br /> The exterior of the double walled diesel tank is readily visible. <br /> I <br /> "DIESEL" is painted on the tank. Impact protection is provided by concrete filled bollards <br /> The 500 GA off-road diesel tank is a rectangular horizontal, double-walled, welded steel tank, <br /> fabricated by Bakersfield Tank in Bakersfield, CA. The tank is labeled in conformance with UL <br /> 1 <br /> 2085 standard" The unit is anchored to a concrete slab footing of unknown thickness. All visible <br /> ports in the primary tank are along the top. Openings contain a covered fill point with overfill <br /> containment suction pipe to the dispenser pump, clock gage and an elevated fill/dispense vent <br /> with weather head and filter. Additionally, there are individual emergency ency relief vents of the <br /> primary and secondary tank. An interstitial inspection pipe is at the end of the outer shell and <br /> should be covered. <br /> There is protective coating. <br /> The exterior of the double walled diesel tank is readily visible. <br /> "DIESEL" is painted on the flank.
