Quest asserts that non-hazardous wastewater was <br /> treated onsite.As a precaution,Quest halted operation of the evaporator as of November 4,2020,to further <br /> investigate the process. If waste characterization at the point of generation results in a hazardous waste <br /> determination,Quest will obtain permit coverage prior to starting operations of the evaporator unit and will <br /> document required inspections. <br /> Violation 601-Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization <br /> 0 Corrected <br /> 0 Violation Corrected by: April 1,2021 for those wastes that are currently on-site <br /> ❑ Supporting Documents Included <br /> Corrective Action: Review of accumulation time limits will be covered in the staff training sessions. <br /> Hazardous waste stored onsite more than 90 days or with an unknown start date has been,or will be disposed <br /> of properly by the date indicated above. <br /> The boneyard and compressor room have been emptied of waste material. Quest has consolidated the <br /> contents of the paint waste containers identified in the County inspection into either liquid paint waste totes <br /> or solid paint waste cardboard containers. The drums have been included with the paint waste solids which <br /> will be disposed of by Clean Harbors. Paint waste solids will be disposed of as a non-RCRA hazardous <br /> waste,based on current generator knowledge. Supporting documentation for the waste determination will <br /> be maintained onsite. <br /> Violation 605-Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste <br /> 0 Corrected <br /> ❑ Violation Corrected by: <br /> 0 Supporting Documents Included(photos) <br /> Corrective Action: Review of hazardous waste container labeling requirements will be covered in the staff <br /> training sessions. Quest has corrected the hazardous waste container labeling issues noted in the County's <br /> inspection report. Photos with examples of completed labels have been attached. <br />
