Although there are two locations identified as "former pile area" only a small <br /> area within the southern "former pile area"was identified as a "Proposed Remediation Area." <br /> Comments: It is not clear why the northern "former pile area" was not proposed to be remediated <br /> (possibly because the area was previously covered with a soil cover/cap) and only a small portion <br /> of the southern "former pile area" was planned to be remediated.
