Board of Supervisors _ SOLID WASTE CLOSURE -2 ENTERPRISE FUND 1. The County of San Joaquin Department of Public Worcs is directed to produce an annual report for transmittal to the CIWMB, containing the following information concerning the landfill operated or controlled by the County: (a) As appropriate, a revised closure cost estimate, prepared as specified by applicable State Law. (b) As appropriate, a revised postclosure maintenance cost estimate, prepared as State Law. specified by applicable (c) Status, including current balance of the SWCEF. (d) The number of current members of the County of San Joaquin Board of Supervisors who voted affirmatively when the Resolution creating .the SWCEF was adopted or last reaffirmed. 2. The Board of Supervisors of this County shall Resolutions associated with the SWCEF vheneverrthe nnumbertof then current members of this Board who voted affirmatively when those Resolutions were adopted or last reaffirmed is less than a majority of the total members. The Department of Public Worcs believes that the proposed Resolution meets the above criteria as requested by the CIWMB. However, it is the Department's intent to combine all the provisions of Resolutions R-88-1323 and R-89-695 and the Resolution, in one Resolution and submit to the Board of proposed Supervisors for consideration at a later date. In a related matter, effective July 1, 1990, the County of San Joaquin assumed ownership and operation of the Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill. As a result, the -County must establish a funding mechanism as required b that adequate funds are available Afor mthe closureill 4ando ensure of the Landfill. postclosure The proposed Resolution would add the Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill sub -budget unit to the SWCEF, and also would meet the requirements of Assembly Bill 2448.
