They are required in order to pass Building & Safety and Health Department
inspections. A Pepsi representative will contact the account at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled
install/relocation date to ensure all items are complete prior to the installation. If during the call
confirmation, any of the items are not complete, the installation will be rescheduled.
INSTRUCTIONS: Please check box when required item(s) completed. Once all requirements are
completed, call your Pepsi Sales Representative to begin scheduling process.
PEPSICO ‘110' MO Tropicana
Pepsi

1f I'
PLUMBING: Water supply must be made of copper piping 1/2 "0.D. terminated on a 1/2" female
threaded brass shut off or ball valve (FIG. 1) installed below the counter top. Compression
styles shut off valves are not recommended. A Backflow Prevention device (FIG. 2) is
required by your local Building & Safety Dept. and must be installed on the water supply
prior to the beverage system with its own draining pipe. If an Intellicarb System TM will be
installed at the location, then these items must be installed in the back room by the Bag-In-
a- Box Rack (syrup supply).
NOTE: The Pepsi Beverages Company is not responsible for supplying or installing copper
drains, primary water lines/valves or backflow prevention systems.
DRAIN: A square recessed Floor Sink (FIG. 3) must be located below or near the
dispensing unit but no more than 10 ft. away. Drain lines cannot be run across floors or
walkways and extending them beyond 10ft, will cause excessive drainage problems. Vent
pipes, P-Traps and floor drains are not acceptable.
Note: Not all types of fountain dispensers require a drain. Consult with your Pepsi sales
representative for specifics.
ELECTRICAL: A standard 110 / 120 volt - 20 amp dual outlet (FIG. 4) on a dedicated
breaker must be provided by the dispensing unit below the counter top but not more than
6 ft. away. Extension cords are not acceptable. If an Intellicarb System TM will be
installed at the location, then a second outlet must be installed in the back room above
the Bag-In-a-Box Rack.
NOTE: Electrical power must be operational at time of install.
Continued on Reverse
