MRZ GEOTECHNIGAi- GROUP <br />Via E -Mail <br />January 21, 2021 <br />BGG No. G130.09 <br />Jose Valdovinos <br />2387 Learned Avenue <br />Stockton, California 95205 <br />Subject: Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study <br />Valdovinos Residence <br />2387 Learned Avenue <br />Stockton, California <br />Dear Mr. Valdovinos: <br />Baez Geotechnical Group (BGG) has conducted Soil Suitability and Nitrate Loading Studies for the <br />proposed 3,480-sf single-family residence improvements to be constructed at 2387 Learned Avenue <br />in Stockton, California (Plate 1 — Vicinity Map). <br />The Soil Suitability and Nitrate Loading Studies are contained herein. The studies were conducted to <br />satisfy the requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described <br />in its Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements <br />Checklist in accordance with Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br />The purpose of these studies was to assess the suitability of the subject site soils for the proposed <br />Valdovinos Residence septic system. <br />NITRATE LOADING STUDY <br />Due to concerns of the suitability of the site soils for septic systems and leach fields, a soil suitability <br />study was required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJC EHD) for <br />approval of the subject Valdovinos Residence septic system. The intent of the study is to evaluate <br />the suitability of the onsite soils for the use of an onsite septic system and leach fields. <br />PROPOSED SITE IMPROVEMENTS <br />The proposed project includes the construction of a new 3,480-sf, single-family residence, which <br />will contain a kitchen, a laundry room with dog wash, and four restrooms. The proposed residence <br />will be located in the southern portion of the site adjacent to Learned Avenue and the proposed septic <br />system and leach fields will be located north of the residence, as shown on Plate 2, Site Plan. <br />SITE DESCRIPTION <br />The subject 0.57 -acre site is identified as Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 173-020-10.
