This 2" Filtrate Return
Line should be sloped a minimum of 114" per foot. If the g ,
Filtrate Return Line is LESS than 6' long, provide a mini-
mum of 1.5" total elevation difference from the outlet of -
the filter to the inlet of the Slit- -
Flow Tee.e. Be sure the 2
Filtrate Return Line is continuously sloped. Do not allow Determining elevations of filtrate return line
any undulations or flat sections as this will impair proper
drainage and air movement.
Out
Be sure the Split-Flow Tee is installed in the proper orien- Out
tation. The Filtrate Return Line connects to the end of the
Split-Flow Tee labeled "IN."The discharge pipe connects .
to the. end of the Split-Flow Tee labeled "OUT."
Step 613: InstaIling Split-FIow Tee Cut-away of split-flow tee
When gluing the Split-Flow Tee, orient it to accommodate
the slope requirements of the discharge line, as shown in "
'Minimum 114"ht
the photo at right. The discharge line should have a mini- x x
mum slope of 114" per foot and a maximum slope of 2 " =Maximum 27/W,,, .
inches per foot (10 degrees). If a slope of greater than 10 ' -
k degrees is necessary, install the first 12 inches of the line at -
less than 10 degrees; then use fittings to achieve the neces-
sary slope greater than 10 degrees. Be sure the vent line is sloped to drain y
into the textile filter, to prevent accumulation of water in
the vent line. k.
Left Air intake attached to filter
EIM•ATX-AX-1 ©2001 Orenco Systems' Inc.
Rev 1.48/61 Information subject to change without notice
