t •
aterly compost inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted:
1. Previous area of concern regarding the acceptance of OSB and particle board has been corrected.
Documents were submitted to the EHD and it was determined that the facitlity may continue to accept
OSB and particle board so long as this material is mixed with the greenwaste. The amount of OSB
and particle board mixed with the greenwaste must be no more than 5%. Monitor and ensure that
the OSB and particle board is evenly dispersed throughout the pile and not concentrated in one
windrow or part of a windrow.
The treated wood waste (TWW) has not been removed since the previous inspection (12/15/11).
3. The total amount of material on site was approximately 3,527 cubic yards.
Lab results for the metal concentrations, fecal coliform levels, and Salmonella levels of the compost
product show that the compost product has met the state standards.
5. The temperature range of the greenwaste piles and ground material was 75 F to 144 F and 151 F to
152 F respectively. The temperature range of the windrows and overs was 93 F to 148 F and 65 F to
119 F respectively. The temperature of the pre-screened product and the screened product was 107
F and 83 F respectively.
