LINDSAY Drove to property and knocked on door. Property is located down a side dirt road. Observed goats, horses, and another gate to a location with a recreational vehicle, owned by the same owner. Left my card on the door and took a photo. 10/05/2020 Talked to complainant about alleged complaint. LINDSAY Informed her that I went out and left my card but I have not heard a response. She said that there is a new owner since last october and he has been sleeping in a shed with his kids over the weekend. When she brought up the sink and the bathtub leaking he said that she had to fix it and that he wouldn't be taking of it. She put the complaint in and now the owner is retaliating more. She is worried that he will not give her their deposit back. I asked if she had access to the shed. She said no. I informed her that we are not open over the weekend but I can put it in with child protective services. She was worried they would take it out on her. I told her its for the safety for the children. She said she was at work and asked me to call her back after 4:30pm. I let her know that tomorrow I can call her after 4 pm. 10/06/2020 Called complainant and informed her that my supervisor has decided to call child LINDSAY protective services and put this address on team and come out on Thursday. I asked if anyone would be home she said her mother in law would be. I informed her that we would be looking at the shed and if she wanted to give us permission into the house to check the sink and bathroom then we would check that out too. She went into how the owner is harrassing them, coming to the shed over the weekends and getting intoxicated, having the children sleep in tents and being out of hand. I let her know that if we can prove someone is living in the shed then we will post it. I just let her know that the sheriffs would be there and code enforcement so it might be a lot of people.
