She informed me that approximately 250 gallons of a <br /> water and pesticide mixture had spilled onto soil. She emailed me the SDS sheets <br /> for the event. She also said that she would be sending Jana LaBrucherie, Biologist, <br /> to the site for inspection. It was agreed that we would meet at the site at 1:00 p.m. <br /> Jessica said she would have Jana call me. <br /> 12:00 p.m.: Received a call from Jana at 209-636-8041. We confirmed our meeting <br /> appointment. <br /> The responsible party is Trinitas Farming and the contact is Thomas Robinson, 916 <br /> 416 6095, <thomas.robinson@trinitasfarming.com>. Called Thomas to inform him <br /> that I was going to visit the site. He guided me to the location and said that he was <br /> going to be at the site the next day with his environmentalist to take samples and <br /> assess the situation. <br /> Arrived to the site at 1:06 p.m. Met with Jana. White staining was observed on the <br /> soil where the pesticide mixture had release and flowed. The staining started near <br /> the entrance to the farm and stopped approximately 10 feet into multiple olive tree <br /> rows. Inspected an irrigation channel near the location of the release and did not <br /> observe any signs of pesticide contamination. <br /> Called Thomas and informed him that I would be writing a notice to abate. Left the <br /> site at 1:36 p.m. and arrived back to the EHD area at 2:00 p.m. <br /> 3:24 p.m.: Called Thomas to get more information. He was still not sure how the <br /> incident happened. I got the contact/billing information from him and explained that <br /> the site would need to be remediated to our standards. <br /> 07/21/2020 Read Cal-Oes Spill report Cntrl: 20-3864 GAITAN <br /> Discussed complaint with John Alaniz (RENS), regarding potential sampling being <br /> performed tomorrow(7/22/2020) <br /> 07/22/2020 Typed up the notice to abate and emailed it to Thomas Robinson, at ALANIZ <br /> <thomas.robinson@trinitasfarming.com>. He replied back that he had received it. <br /> Called him at , 916 416 6095, and discussed the remediation.
