Resolve other related issues observed at CLIP such as installing proper lids on septic tanks,
moving those trailers that currently sit over septic tanks, and the removal of any existing gray
water lines that are not plumed into septic systems appropriately.
4. The proposed design for the sewage disposal systems should incorporate the number of residents,
total bedrooms, laundry room if available, and the 100%replacement areas as required by San
Joaquin County Sewage Standards.
5. Apply for a land-use application should additional property be acquired for placement of the new
septic system.
The EHD is fully appreciative of the pro-active approach taken by you and the new ownership and will do
everything within its authority to assist you in attaining full compliance at CLIP. Hopefully, this can be
accomplished in the most expedient manner possible due to the fact that remaining options are limited,
the most extreme of which would be of course facility closure. I am sure that all concerned parties will
work diligently to insure that this does not come to pass.
You are hereby ordered to respond within 90 days of receipt of this letter outlining a plan for remedy of
the ongoing septic system failures.
