The plans were forwarded to the California <br /> Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB). The plans were reviewed by the EHD. The <br /> plans are draft in nature and are prepared for bid purposes only. The comments have been <br /> provided here. <br /> The California Code of Regulation Title 27, Section 20937, states that the landfill gas extractions <br /> system must be designed by a registered civil or mechanical engineer. The installation of the <br /> system shall be in accordance with the design and in a manner approved for construction by the <br /> LEA in coordination, if applicable, with the Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB). <br /> The gas control system for Corral Hollow Landfill shall be designed to: <br /> 1. Prevent the accumulation of methane in all structures located on-site <br /> 2. Reduce methane concentrations to below 5% at the property boundaries. <br /> 3. Reduce trace gas concentrations <br /> 4. Provide for the collection, treatment and disposal of landfill gas condensation <br /> produced at the surface. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
