Corral Hollow Landfill <br /> September 14, 2000 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Prior to construction, the designer shall obtain and review all applicable test reports, shop <br /> drawings, and manufacture's certificates to verify that all equipment used in the gas control <br /> system has been manufactured in accordance with industry standards. The operator shall also be <br /> responsible for providing inspections to ensure the integrity of the system. The installation of the <br /> gas extraction wells will require a permit and inspection by the EHD. <br /> Once the systems installation has been completed,the operator must monitor and adjust the <br /> system to provide optimum efficiency to control landfill gas. The operator must implement a <br /> maintenance program in accordance with the following requirements: <br /> • A site specific Operations and Maintenance (O&M)manual shall be maintained and kept <br /> current to reflect any expansion or modifications to the gas control system. <br /> • An O&M manual shall provide for periodic inspections and servicing of gas control <br /> equipment. <br /> • The operation and maintenance of the system shall be recorded.
