TABLE 1-1 SUMMARY OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS AND MITIGATION MEASURES Significance Significance Before Mitigation After Mitigation Potential Impact Measures Mitigation Measures Measures 3.5 CULTURAL RESOURCES W a)Historical Resources NI None required. - b)Archaeological Resources PS CULT-1: If any subsurface cultural resources are LS encountered during construction of the project, all construction activities within 100 feet of the encounter shall be halted until a qualified archaeologist can examine these materials, determine their significance and, if significant, recommend further mitigation measures that would reduce potential effects to a level that is less than significant.Recommended measures could include,but are not limited to, 1)preservation in place, 2)incorporation of change in design to ensure no further disturbance of encountered resources, or 3) excavation, recovery, and curation by qualified professionals.The County Community Development Department shall be notified,and the project developer shall be responsible for retaining qualified professionals, implementing recommended mitigation measures,and documenting mitigation efforts in a written report to the Community Development Department, consistent with the requirements of the CEQA Guidelines. c)Human Burials PS CULT-2: In accordance with CEQA Guidelines Section LS 15064.5(e) and with California Health and Safety Code Section 7050.5, if human remains are uncovered during project construction,then all work in the vicinity of the find shall be halted,and the County Coroner shall be notified to determine if an investigation of the death is required.If it is determined that the remains are Native American in origin, then the County Coroner shall contact the Native American Pock Lane Public Review Draft IS/MND 1-12 May 2022 LEGEND: NI = No Impact; LS=Less Than Significant; PS=Potentially Significant
