1.0 INTRODUCTION This Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) has been prepared by Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) at the request of Josh Elson of Baumbach & Piazza, Inc. The subject of this investigation is the property located at 8458, 8450 and 8200 East Jahant Road and 23110 North Dustin Road, Acampo, California, owned by Joyce Saco, Theodore Leventini, Jeanette Shoup, Camillo Leventini, and Linda Alberti. The San Joaquin County application number has not yet been assigned. 1.1 About the SSCR The SSCR is a document specific to San Joaquin County that aims to identify sources of on-site or off-site contamination affecting the Site, both current and past. The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department will review this information as part of a land use application for the Site and may request action to address any contamination identified. The SSCR is designed for this specific use. Live Oak prohibits use of the SSCR by any other parties and for any other purpose, including but not limited to making business or health risk determinations. The client is encouraged, however, to seek further information and take steps to remedy any contamination that may be present on the Site. The "contamination" addressed by this report is limited to the presence or suspected presence of petroleum products and those chemicals within the scope of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA). Per San Joaquin County requirements, wells, septic systems, and any surface debris are also discussed. This scope of work is standard practice among consultants preparing SSCRs. Per San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department policy, this report is only valid for six months from its date of completion. 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION The Site consists of Assessor's Parcel Numbers (APN) 007-050-13, -47, and a portion of -46; the property is approximately 160 acres in size. It is located at 8458, 8450, and 8200 East Jahant Road and 23110 North Dustin Road, Acampo, California. The Site is open agricultural land and vineyard. A modular home, an old house, a domestic well, and a pole barn are on the north side of the Site. Two irrigation wells are also present. A natural gas separator facility operated by Lodi Gas Storage is on the east side of the Site. A location map and site map are attached to this report as Plates 1 and 2 in Appendix 1.
